Our Signature Events

LOSS Community Services offers events that bring suicide loss survivors together in remembrance, reflection, and community. Whether releasing a butterfly in honor of a loved one or gathering for breakfast on International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, these moments create space for healing and hope.

Survivor Day Breakfast

Held annually in November, this special breakfast coincides with International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. It’s a time for survivors to connect, share stories, and support one another in a compassionate, understanding space.

Memory Bear Workshop

Our Remembrance Bear gatherings offer suicide loss survivors a hands-on way to honor their loved ones. Using the materials you provide, each item is lovingly hand-crafted and returned to the LOSS office for you to fill with stuffing.

Butterfly Event

Each summer, we gather to release butterflies in a symbolic and healing tribute to our loved ones lost to suicide. This serene event allows space for remembrance, reflection, and collective hope.
