Helping Hope originated when one of our volunteers and a suicide survivor, used her crocheting as a part of her healing process. Crocheting a large dragon was therapeutic, and presented a challenge she wanted to tackle. Hope the dragon now takes up residence in our office and is beloved by all who see her.
Hope represents those who are bereaved by suicide. She is strength, vulnerability, and grief. Courage and chaos. Soft and safe. She is a survivor, and she found community at LOSS.
Giving ‘Helping Hope’ means you will support all those bereaved by suicide find a community of survivors who restore hope and stand together for suicide awareness.
