Join us as we honor International Survivors of Suicide Day 2019. Come and enjoy the community of fellow loss survivors and  a delicious, hot breakfast. Make a memory craft to remember your loved one(s) or, just enjoy the beautiful view of the Audubon Center.

With Special Guest: Dr. Melinda Moore

Dr. Moore, a suicide loss survivor herself, has done suicide bereavement research with an emphasis on Post-traumatic Growth (www.posttraumaticgrowth.com). She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University. She serves on the board of the American Association of Suicidology and is the co-lead of the National Action Alliance’s Faith Communities Task Force. Dr. Moore recently published The Suicide Funeral: Honoring their Memory, Comforting their Survivors (Wipf & Stock) with her co-author Rabbi Dan Robert.
