Loss of someone to suicide often leaves survivors with experiences that are beyond words. Art can access creative inner resources for coping with grief. This workshop is based on the healing potential of viewing and creating art. Participants are invited to share their own stories, as well as respond to a collection of paintings by artist Dede Prince, who created them after the loss of her beloved friend to suicide. Denise Meine-Graham, coordinator of the Franklin County LOSS Team (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors), will also be present to share her story and provide information about the LOSS Team initiative.
Spiritual lessons are a migration, a long journey like the monarchs make. Be blessed on your own migrations.”
